Minster is a delightful old English village that makes an excellent base for touring. Set in the heart of the Kent countryside, with a 12th Century Abbey and a variety of excellent traditional pubs and a choice of restaurants that cater for a variety of tastes. There are walks and cycle trails that will either take you to the coast or help you discover the garden of England.The surrounding towns of Broadstairs Ramsgate and Sandwich all have their own unique style and fine beaches . Canterbury city is just 12 miles by car or a 15 minute train ride from the local station and is full of attractions historical, cultural and contemporary plus a thriving shopping centre.
